After this winter's heavy snow fall, a grieving mother speaks out about avalanche safety 13 years after her son's death.

On March 21st, 1999, Aedene Arthur lost her son, Aaron Arthur to the Turnagain Pass avalanche.

Five others died with him.

Since then, Aedene has aimed to spread the word about Avalanche safety.

She has also started her own business selling safety gear.
