Century old cannery gets a face-lift

ANCHORAGE-A Kenai cannery more than 100 years old undergoes a two million dollar face-lift.
Alaskan owned and operated PRL Logistics have been renovating the building for about seven months.

Staff say they repurposed dozens of items from the original facility.This is phase one of a three part project. Phase two will be in Homer.The logistics company plans to restore what was to be the original Land's End. 

The company says choosing restoration projects comes down to knowing how they can benefit both communities and the business.

A private grand opening will be held this Saturday at 6P.M.
