Copper Center Cabin Burns to the Ground with Person Inside

The cabin was completely burned to the ground and investigators found a body inside. Due to the severity of the flames the subject couldn't be identified.

Troopers say a house in Copper Center burns to the ground with one person inside.
Troopers and Glenn Rich fire department crews responded to the cabin at mile 93.7 on the Richardson Highway at about 10 p.m. Sunday night.
The cabin was completely burned to the ground and investigators found a body inside. Due to the severity of the flames the subject couldn't be identified.
The remains were sent for an autopsy at the state medical examiners office for identification.
The cabin owner and sole resident Harlan Parker, 71, was last seen at the cabin Saturday. An investigation is ongoing.
