Lawmakers Work to Extend Alaska's Film Incentives

House Bill 67 would extend Alaska's Film Incentive Program for another 10 years, for the price tag of $200 million.

It's a bill many of you at home see the benefits of every night on cable television. Alaska's Film Incentive Program is set to expire, unless extended.

I can't remember the last time I saw something filmed here... usually when they say "Somewhere in Alaska" they film it somewhere completely different. Let it expire, I can think of better appropriations for those funds...
