ANCHORAGE-Dozens of nine to fivers ditch their traditional lunch break and head to jail and make bail for MDA.

Employees have pledged their lunch hour to go into "lock-up." Most incarcerated Alaskans get one phone call, but ere you can text, tweet, facebook, and chat.  In order to enter back into society, the inmates are trying to raise a $1600 bail.

All proceeds benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association in the Last Frontier. 12-year- old m-d-a camper Alice McConnell says seeing all these volunteers network their lunch away has a huge impact on her."It's just really nice knowing there are some people that care and will help support people like me," said McConnell.
