Police Identify Body Found in Ship Creek

The body found in Ship Creek Tuesday (7/25) has been identified as 35-year-old Jack Harshfield.

The body found in Ship Creek Tuesday (7/25) has been identified as 35-year-old Jack Harshfield.

Around 7 o'clock a.m. his body was spotted upstream from the Ship Creek dam. Police say he had a cell phone and wallet in his pocket and does not appear to be homeless.

Next of kin have been notified. Police say there is no evidence of foul play.

The body has been sent to the medical examiners office for further examination and cause of death.
