Victoria joined Your Alaska Link in May 2012 shortly after graduating from
Western Kentucky University. A proud Hilltopper, Victoria earned her
degree in photojournalism and a minor in communication studies.

A native of North Georgia, whose love of photojournalism exploded in the
9th grade, after being told by one of her former teachers, ”write and do
what you love for a happy life.” Taking his advice, Victoria began
thinking of ways to combine writing with what she loved, taking pictures!
Photojournalism seemed like the best way to combine both and offer the
platform to pursue a happy life.

During her free time Victoria enjoys reading memoirs, cooking and baking
(because you can be good at both!), listening to anything 80′s and
spending time with her pit-matian, Motley-Droole. Victoria is thrilled to
finally call Alaska home and can’t wait to explore and tell stories from
the last frontier.
