Governor Parnell signed a bill into law allowing the state to use discretion in counting write-in ballots. That’s great. We have no Coastal Management Plan and it may be another 50 years before something like this happens again, but Juneau needed a lesson in how to count.

Interior chief Ken Salazar says that despite his opposition to offshore oil development, he’s for offshore oil development! With this administration, we’re living in Orwellian times my friends. They will SAY one thing and then do the opposite. I’ll believe it when the rigs are up in the Beaufort and Chukchi Seas and the oil is flowing.

2 men from Togiak were arrested on a sampler plate of charges. It’s alleged that they shot federally protected walrus IN a state sanctuary, wasted game, multiple DUI’s, importation of alcohol, poaching ivory and resisting arrest. Additional state and federal charges may be coming. Other than that, they’re in TROUBLE!!!

The meeting is 6-8pm tonight at Wendler Middle School. My guess is that most will be against it since college kids are anti-EVERYTHING!

Of course we now know that Arnold admitted that he fathered a child with a housekeeper a decade ago. Not much is known about the kid. Other than he already speaks better English than pops.
