A workshop lead by Richard J . Delaney, Ph.D an Internationally Acclaimed Clinical Psychologist who works closely with foster, kinship, and adoptive parents and agencies that serve troubled youngsters. He is the author and co-author of several books on attachment issues, foster care and adoption, including Fostering Changes: Myth, Meaning, and Magic Bullets in Attachment Theory, Behavior with a Purpose (with Charley Joyce), Raising Cain, The Healing Power of Family, Small Feats: The Everyday Heroics of Foster and Adoptive parents and A 3-D view of Foster, Kinship, and Adopted Children (with James M. Kagan, M.D.) 

The workshop will cover: Patterns of Attachment; Conduct problems of Foster/Adoptive Children; Trauma and Stressor Related Disorders; and Parents as Mind-Readers: Connecting thoughts, feelings, intentions with children's behavior.
