No service is planned.
Molli was born Sept. 19, 1953, in Pampa, Texas, to Jack and Mary Ann (Sherrod) Dunham.
She came to Alaska in August 1955, when her parents became the school teachers for the Bureau of Indian Affairs in Quinhagak. She also lived in Mountain Village, Togiak, Homer, Colorado and Haines before moving to Anchorage in 1967.
She graduated from West High School in 1971 and later attended the University of Alaska in Fairbanks and Anchorage.
She was a competitive downhill and cross-country skiier and runner, coached younger skiers and was a member of the ski patrol. On one memorable afternoon, she helped rescue several people, including a vice principal from West High School, caught in an avalanche at Alyeska.
She is survived by her husband, Ronald Klein; stepson, John Klein; stepdaughter, Ruth Klein; mother, Mary Ann Dunham; brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Evie Dunham; nephews, Samuel and Benjamin Dunham, all of Anchorage; and her father, Jack Dunham of Sequim, Wash.
