Alex Kendall Gee, 7, died May 26, 2007, in Anchorage.
A funeral will be at noon Thursday, with a public viewing from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., at the Lake Hood Chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 3340 W. 40th Ave. Frank Roberts will officiate.
Alex was born Nov. 26, 1999, in Orem, Utah, to Kendall and Carinne Gee.
He moved to Anchorage with his family in 2001.
Alex attended the special needs class of Kincaid Elementary school.
His family wrote: "Alex had a sweet and loving nature and his hugs were a special delight. He loved being outdoors and spent hours on his trampoline, swing set, and looking at his favorite books. His infectious smile brought joy to his family and all who knew him. Alex will be greatly missed."
He is survived by his parents, Kendall and Carinne Gee; brothers, Ethan and Miles; sisters, Isabel and Clara; grandparents, Randall and Janet Gee and Melvin and Sharon Nichols; and a large extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins and great-grandparents.
