Seidi Marguerite Winters
Palmer resident Seidi Marguerite Winters, 56, died July 24, 2007, at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage.
No services are planned. Her ashes will be scattered in Alaska and Utah.
Seidi was born Feb. 9, 1951, in Salt Lake City. She graduated from Granite High School and attended two years of college. She moved to Alaska in 1975 and lived in Anchorage and Wasilla before moving to Palmer eight years ago.
Seidi was self-employed as a home health care provider.
She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and ABATE. She loved her garden and pets.
Her family wrote: "All of Seidi's at-home clients loved her and the help and joy she brought to them. She will be missed and loved by all."
Seidi is survived by her brothers and sisters-in-law, Charles and Peggy Winters of Big Lake, John and Maxine Winters of Salt Lake City, and Kim and Phyllis Winters of Sandy, Utah; sister and brother-in-law, Diane and Dan Lommel of Anchorage; seven nephews; four nieces and their families; significant other, Jim Roy of Palmer; special friends, Judy Anderson of Palmer, Kathy Husky of Eagle River, and Joseph and Sue Griffin of Anchorage; and two maternal aunts in Salt Lake City.
She was preceded in death by her father, Henry, and mother, Ruth Winters.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the American Cancer Society, 1057 W. Fireweed Lane, Suite 204, Anchorage 99503.
