(Anchorage, AK) It's almost Iditarod time and while some are getting ready for the Last Great Race on Earth, others are having a competition of their own.

In this week's Education Link, Natalie Travis checks out the kindergarten pretend trek of a lifetime, the Ikidarod 2012 at the Pacific Northern Academy.

Officials say PNA is Alaska's only independent school.

Students are pre- kindergarten to 8th grade.
