The public has a chance to meet with two candidates vying to be Anchorage School District's next superintendent.
The school board will host a meet-and-greet with the candidates Friday January 6th, and the following Friday January 13th.
Jim Browder and his wife flew up this week to meet with the board and public first. He'll spend three days touring the schools, meeting with students, staff and principals, as well as interviewing with the board.
The same goes for Steve Atwater the following week. He's the current superintendent with the Kenai Peninsula School Borough.
