(Anchorage, AK) Thread officials say the early learning field allows over 32,000 Alaska residents to join the workforce through the services it provides.

With child care professionals present during some of the most impressionable years of a kid's life,
some would say it's a pretty important job.

But are those in the industry under-appreciated?
