Stevie welcomes Food Bank Executive Director Michael Miller to the show to discuss September's Hunger Action Month, including the many events designed to get locals involved in fighting hunger in the Anchorage area.

The Food Bank of Alaska has been helping Alaskans fight hunger since 1979. As a food source for nonprofit agencies, they distribute millions of pounds of food all over the state. A recent shortage in food caused many to worry that closures would happen among the state's food pantries and shelters, but a massive influx of support and donations allowed those doors to stay open.
