This week's Summertime Grilling with Stevie features guest chef Suzette Lord, who shared her recipe for Pineapple Shrimp Skewers!

Pineapple Shrimp Skewers
 

Ingredients: Sauce

1/4 Cup Soy Sauce
1/8 Cup Sake
1 Tbs Brown Sugar
1Tbs Sesame Oil
1 Tbs Pineapple Juice
1 Tbs Garlic
 

Ingredients: Skewers

1 lb LARGE Shrimp (cleaned and shelled)
1 Cup Cubed Pineapple
1 Large Bell Pepper (red, yellow, or orange)
1 Medium Onion, squared
 

Instructions:
Combine first 6 ingredients. Add shrimp and marinade for 20 minutes. Alternately thread shrimp, peppers, onion, and pineapple on to skewers. 
Cook 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until the shrimp is pink and just firm to the touch. 

Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds to finish.
