Anchorage Man Gets 10 Years on Drug Charges

A 31-year-old Anchorage man will serve 10 years in a federal prison for selling methamphetamine and having heroin while he was in jail.

ANCHORAGE- A 31-year-old Anchorage man will serve 10 years in a federal prison for selling methamphetamine and having heroin while he was in jail.

Michael Dean Miller was sentenced Wednesday in U.S. District Court in Anchorage.
The U.S. attorney's office says in a release that Miller sold more than 40 grams of meth over a six-month period in 2012, including attempting to trade meth for fully automated weapons.
He received a concurrent 18-month sentence for possessing heroin while in prison.
