ANCHORAGE- Officials with the Chugach School District are reporting a series of break-ins at its Anchorage office.

The district serves communities around Prince William Sound. Officials say the Anchorage office has been hit for the third time in four months by thefts.
The thefts could cost the district as much as $70,000 in damages and stolen property.
Ryan Schmidt, the facility and technology manager for the Anchorage office, says the thieves have stolen thousands of dollars worth of laptops, cameras, iPads and copper pipes.
They've also caused thousands of dollars in damages to doors, windows and more.
The third break-in occurred last week. The other break-ins occurred last October and September.
Police spokeswoman Jennifer Castro says the three burglaries are not believed to be connected.
