ANCHORAGE- A bill with three separate measures involving Denali National Park and Preserve, including a land swap with Doyon Ltd., is headed to President Obama for his signature.

U.S. Sen. Lisa Murkowski says her Denali Park Improvement Act bill provides authority for the National Park Service to exchange 10 acres of Doyon land to build a 50-kilowatt power plant to reduce the amount of diesel it uses at Kantishna Roadhouse.
The bill also allows a natural gas pipeline to be buried in the utility corridor of the Parks Highway through the park, and renames the National Park Service's Talkeetna Ranger Station in honor of Athabascan climber Walter Harper. He was among the four men to first climb Mount McKinley 100 years ago.
