FAIRBANKS- A 26-year-old Fairbanks man has received a one-year prison sentence for selling the drug ecstasy to an undercover informant.
Judge Ralph Beistline gave Steven Jacob Johnson credit for the 10 months he already served during sentencing in federal court in Fairbanks. Johnson was sentenced Friday, but the U.S. attorney's office didn't announce the sentence until a Tuesday release.
Officials say received nearly $11,000 in two sales, and was negotiating a third when arrested.
A co-defendant, Jackson Drew, has pleaded guilty to drug charges and will be sentenced Sept. 27.
