FAIRBANKS- An arts project wants to bring some bland windows to life in vacant downtown Fairbanks buildings.
Artists have until July 31 to submit proposals to dress up some drab windows.
The Window Project comes after last year's Paint the Pipes project, in which 13 artists dressed up ventilation shafts.
The Downtown Association is offering $100 stipends to artists whose design is chosen to dress up windows. The artists of the top three finished windows, as chosen by the public, will receive cash prizes.
