Federal Funding For Alaskan Homeless

 U.S. Mark Begich has introduced the Homeless Children and Youth Act, legislation that would expand the definition of homelessness.

The change would allow 900,000 homeless children and families nationwide  to have access to federal aid programs that they did not previously qualify for.

“This is a much needed change that will help us combat homelessness in Alaska and across the nation,” said Begich
