JUNEAU- House lawmakers have approved some committee changes following Rep. Beth Kerttula's decision to resign from the Legislature.

Rep. Chris Tuck took over for Kerttula as minority leader, and Rep. Max Gruenberg replaced Tuck as whip.
The House Committee on Committees on Wednesday approved a request by minority Democrats to have Rep. Scott Kawasaki replace Tuck on House Resources.
Rep. Andy Josephson will replace Tuck on the Select Committee on Legislative Ethics. Rep. Geran Tarr will be the alternate.
Kerttula stepped down as leader Tuesday and plans to resign from the Legislature Friday for a fellowship at Stanford University.
On the Senate side, Hollis French replaced Johnny Ellis as minority leader this session, but Senate Majority Leader John Coghill says he doesn't expect any change in committee membership as a result.
