ANCHORAGE - Police have arrested a 26-year-old man in a killing outside an Anchorage nightclub last fall.

Detectives say a grand jury returned an indictment for first-degree murder against Korakanh Phornsavanh after they completed a lengthy investigation that included reviewing video of the melee outside Platinum Jaxx on Oct. 28.

A fight broke out among intoxicated patrons as the bar was closing after a Halloween celebration. Shots were fired, and 27-year-old Said Beshirov wound up dead.

Anchorage police say they're still asking for anyone who might have been present to come forward if they have not yet been interviewed by detectives.

Phornsavanh is being held at the Anchorage Jail on $1 million bail.
