ANCHORAGE- Alaska State Troopers say a 24-year-old Minto woman has been arrested in connection with the stabbing death of her former boyfriend.
Carleen Charlie was arrested Tuesday on a first-degree murder charge stemming from the May 2 death of 26-year-old Jordan Baker in Minto.
Troopers say Charlie was arrested after she was contacted at the Anchorage home of a family member. It's not clear if Charlie has an attorney.
Troopers say Jordan died of an apparent stabbing.
A village health worker found Baker's body in a home at the village about 50 miles Northwest of Fairbanks. Troopers quickly identified a suspect, but no arrests were immediately made.
According to troopers, Charlie is being held without bail at the Anchorage Jail.
