WASHINGTON- A major speech and call to action from Washington DC came from Alaska State Senator Lisa Murkowski on energy issues.

"...getting the government out of the way and let us expert our oil around the world."

With American oil and gas development hitting a new resurgence nationwide, the U.S. is in the unique position of being able to deliver crude oil to nations around the world.

But a decades-old rule bans oil exports by America, despite the fact that the United States could become a player and compete with oil rich nations to bring down global costs and foreign influence of other oil rich nations.

Senator Lisa Murkowski told a sold-out crowd today in frigid Washington, DC, saying that the nation must take advantage of this opportunity.
