ANCHORAGE- Thanks to astronauts, photos were captured from space showcasing the dramatic eruption of the Pavlof volcano.

Astronauts living on-board the International Space Station managed to capture the Pavlof volcano as it erupted over the weekend.

Astronauts at the space station were able to adjust their cameras and take photos from all different angles using a Nikon d3s digital camera equipped with 800, 400, and 50 millimeter lenses.
