BETHEL- Construction is progressing on a planned movie theater and superstore complex in Bethel.
The building going up is huge by Bethel standards, covering 60,000 square feet.
The structure is on track to open in July 2014.
The project is a joint venture between Omni, which owns Swanson's stores, and the Bethel Native Corp., which will operate the movie theater. Omni will operate the store.
The store will take up 50,000 square feet. There will be two movie screens, one seating hundred 150 people and the other seating 75.
