ANCHORAGE- Snow in mid-May?

It's not unheard of, but it has a lot of Alaskans saying enough is enough.

National Weather Forecasters say snow is in the forecast this weekend for the residents of Southcentral Alaska.

Forecasters say Anchorage can expect up to 3 inches of snow in the city and more on the Hillside from Friday night to Saturday morning.

Forecasters say the snow is being caused by unseasonably cold weather that is setting records around the state.

They say long-held records for cold have already toppled this May in Fairbanks.
