Woman Dies in Ketchikan House Fire

A 77-year-old woman has died in a Ketchikan house fire.

KETCHIKAN- A 77-year-old woman has died in a Ketchikan house fire.
The fire Thursday morning destroyed a duplex shared by two families and an attached garage that contained a sport utility vehicle and a boat.
The name of the woman killed has not been released.
She lived with other family members in the lower half of the house.
All other residents of the home were accounted for.
Alaska State Troopers spokeswoman Megan Peters says by email that the woman's body will be sent to the state medical examiner for an autopsy.
