An Ambler man faces charges after allegedly shooting through the door of his home at a village police officer.

Reports say 34-year-old Harry Morena was charged with attempted murder, manufacturing home brew, and weapon misconduct and assault.

Alaska State Troopers say VPO Jeffrey Melton responded Saturday to a call about Morena being intoxicated and belligerent. When the officer arrived, troopers say Morena reportedly screamed, "one shot, one kill" before firing a shot from a 30-30 lever-action rifle through the door.

No one was injured.

Troopers said they found the home brew manufacturing equipment later when they executed an arrest warrant. Morena was jailed in Kotzebue, and the public defender's office didn't immediately return a message left early Monday morning.

Ambler is located about 140 miles northeast of Kotzebue.
