FAIRBANKS- The Alaska Department of Transportation says it's going to be a busy construction season next year in interior Alaska.

Drivers are likely to face delays as projects go from the drawing board to the building phase.
Six sections of the Parks Highway between Anchorage and Fairbanks will see renovations. Passing lanes will be built along a 140-mile stretch south of Nenana and a new overpass will be built at Broad Pass south of Cantwell.
Thirteen miles of the Parks Highway between Denali Park and Healy will be rebuilt.
In Fairbanks, the Johansen Expressway will be resurfaced and half of Airport Way will get new asphalt.
Work also will continue on a makeover of rural Goldstream Road.
