Juneau Man Pleads Guilty to Robbery, Burglary

A Juneau man tied to an armed home invasion and a string of burglaries has pleaded guilty to multiple felony counts.

JUNEAU- A Juneau man tied to an armed home invasion and a string of burglaries has pleaded guilty to multiple felony counts.
Joseph A.S. Allen on Tuesday pleaded guilty to robbery and four counts of burglary. He also pleaded guilty to misdemeanor assault.
Allen currently is serving a 15-month sentence for an October 2011 burglary conviction.
He was charged in September with a Dec. 26, 2011, home invasion in which a woman and two children were threatened with a gun and robbed. He also was charged with burglaries in November and December 2011.
He is scheduled for sentencing Nov. 9.
He faces up to 20 years in prison on the robbery charge and up to 10 years for each burglary count.
