A 24-year-old man has died after he was found stricken at the Anchorage jail.

Alaska State Troopers say Mark Bolus died Tuesday in an Anchorage hospital of unknown causes.

The Department of Corrections just after 8 a.m. Sunday called troopers to report an inmate "unresponsive" in his cell. Bolus was alone before he was found.

Corrections employees performed CPR and Bolus was taken by emergency medical personnel to the hospital. His next of kin was present when he died.

Troopers say no foul play is suspected and an autopsy has been ordered.
