Pilot Organization Holds Flying Companion Seminar
Goal is to make non-pilots better passengers
The Ninety-Nines, an International Organization of Women Pilots want all non-pilots to feel safe when flying in Alaska. A one day "Flying Companions Seminar" is being offered Saturday, May 17 from
8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the UAA Aviation Technology Building.
Designed for the spouse, friend or frequent passenger who would like to learn more about flying to make them a more comfortable, helpful passenger, especially in an emergency situation.
The all day event covers basic navigation, basic flight controls, use of aircraft radios and terminology as well as emergency procedures and survivial skills. For more or to sign up connect with us.
