ANCHORAGE, Alaska--The Alaska Aces have given new meaning to the phrase "Home, sweet home".

Entering into Wednesday's contest, the Aces carried a 7-1 record at home.

Alaska scored first on a redirection from Joey Crabb in the "dirty zone". The play looked as if a Utah Grizzlies player redirected the puck, and hit off Crabb's stick for the early goal in the second period.

In the third period, Scott Gomez added an assist for William Wrenn's go-ahead goal in the third period.

The Aces picked up a 4-2 ECHL win over the Grizzlies, and have now won 12 of their last 13. Alaska will play the Grizzlies in three more contests at home, then three contests at Utah.
