Dimond Handles Business with Chugiak; South Rematch Saturday

The stage has now been set for the epic Cook Inlet Conference hockey rematch between South and Dimond, to close out the regular season.  South ending a 39 game Lynx win streak, via a 4-3 come from behind win on December 5th.

 
Tonight, the defending state champion's looked in state champion form, as Dimond out shot Chugiak 48-14.  Goalie Jordon MacMillan with the shutout, as the Lynx win 11-0.  Joel Tomuro hat tricked with 1 assist, while Kenny Hausinger tallied 2 and an assist.
 
Dimond battles South Saturday night, 6:45 at Ben Boeke Ice Arena.  That game should determine the CIC championship and lock in the top seeds for the regional tournament next week.
