ANCHORAGE, Alaska--Oh, the things you learn on the road.

That may be one of the only thoughts popping into UAA Mens Basketball Head Coach Rusty Osborne. His Seawolves squad just finished a road trip by playing one of the top teams in the country, and hung tough for much of the game.

His team carried some of that momentum by shooting 55% from the field on Thursday night to defeat the Central Washington Wildcats, 98-69.

Kyle Fossman raked in 26 points to lead all scorers on 8 of 15 shooting. Senior forward Abebe Demissie a career high with 18 points.

UAA and Central Washington fought back-and-forth for the first 12 minutes of the game, but the Seawolves jumped out to a 12-1 lead to finish out the half.

Jalen Little also led the Seawolves in a big way outside of scoring. Little put up 9 assists, and tacked on 9 points to finish the night by tying his career high.

The Green and Gold will try to make it three in a row on Saturday when they take on Northwest Nazarene at 7pm.
