ANCHORAGE, Alaska--Alaska Aces fans can gladly say, "Welcome Back, Scott Gomez".

Gomez returned to his 2005 self on Wednesday night--adding a goal and assist in the Aces 4-3 victory over the Colorado Eagles.

Gomez' comeback wasn't the only comeback on Wednesday. The Aces faced a deficit three different times in the game, but managed to fight their way back with the help from rookie Jarred Smith. Smith had a goal in the contest. Before Wednesday's match, Smith only registered two assists this season.

With the game tied in the third period, Gomez tallied his first ECHL goal off of a deflection. The goal brought the 3,854 fans in attendance at the Sullivan Arena to their feet.

With the win, the Aces improve to 9-4 on the season.
