ANCHORAGE, Alaska--UAA Lady Seawolves basketball coach Ryan McCarthy has to be a fan of the AT&T Hoops Classic.

McCarthy, while only in his first year, inherited a team that has yet to lose in the tournament that's now going into its fourth year.

The Seawolves matched up against the winless Eastern New Mexico Zias (0-9) on Tuesday night.

UAA came out strong to start the game on a 10-0 run, but faltered a bit--allowing 26 points in the first half. The Seawolves only had an eight point cushion going into the locker room.

Eastern New Mexico went through a scoring drought midway through the second half as they scored no points from the 15 minute mark, down to the 7:30 minute mark.

UAA relied heavily on Alysa Horn's 16 points, 9 rebounds, 5 blocks and 3 steals. Jenna Buchanan and Sasha King each added 15 and 14 ponits, respectively.

The Seawolves now sit at 6-2 overall. They'll play Cal. State-LA in Wednesday's game. That tip-off is set for 7pm.

UAA 82, Eastern New Mexico 40
