ANCHORAGE, Alaska--

Service 88, Bartlett 59

The Service Cougars used a high-powered, high-energy defensive attack featuring a full-court press on Thursday night. For those who have watched the Cougars in action--there were no surprises on Wednesday night.

Adam Klie and Marques Robinson added 19 points in the win.

The Cougars roared to the tune of a double-digit lead at halftime. Some quick turnovers to begin the third quarter gave Service all the momentum they'd need to stop a good offensive team in Bartlett.

Eagle River 56, West 54

When most prep basketball fans think of Eagle River this season--they'll first point to Shaquan Rhoades.

Rhoades leads the team in points per game, but as of recently he's developed a style of play which has been more balanced.

Rhoades, and the Wolves, captured a two point win against a solid West High Eagles squad.

Girls Final: West 47, Eagle River 13

The West High Eagles girls squad ventured out to a 34-5 halftime lead, but offensive production for both teams came to a screeching halt.

Combined, the two teams managed to put up only 11 points in the third quarter. The Wolves were unable to produce any offense until 59 seconds were remaining in the period.

For notables--Ce Ce Cockerham snatched a double-double with 13 points and 13 rebounds.
