South Loses Hobbs for Tournament; Rundown of RegionalsANCHORAGE, Alaska--The South High Wolverines boys basketball team sent the seniors off in style. The Wolverines picked up a 13 point win, 55-42, against Grace Christian on Friday night; however, the impact of the game was felt well before the opening tip with Jack Hobbs sitting on the bench due to an ankle injury. Hobbs commented on his injury saying he could possibly be out until the regional championship if there isn't a fracture. For the fifth ranked Wolverines--a Thursday draw pits them with the West High Eagles, a team that's won four of their last six. South Anchorage High School will have to win on Thursday and Friday to even have an opportunity to make it to this year's state tournament.
