ANCHORAGE, Alaska--The "Spike Out Cancer" event at Service High School on Tuesday raised a record amount of donations.

The event, currently in it's third year, raised $6,300 for Breast Cancer research.

Members of South and Service High School raised money for the cause by selling pink t-shirts and hoodies.

After the check ceremony, South and Service clashed in a Cook Inlet Conference battle. The Wolverines rolled right past the Cougars in a three-set match.
