--The Alaska Nanooks grabbed a huge win over the weekend against the number-two ranked University of North Dakota hockey team. With the win, Alaska-Fairbanks claimed the title in a tournament they played host to.

--The Alaska Aces are sponsoring a food drive this week. Below are the four donation locations where you can donate non-perishable canned food items for the drive:

  • Alaska Aces Office: 724 East 15th Ave. Anchorage, AK 99501
  • Anchorage Media Group Office: 301 Arctic Slope Ave., Anchorage, AK 99518
  • Specialty Truck & Auto: 8225 Hartzell Rd., Anchorage, AK 99507
  • ANY Aces game this week (10/26, 10/27, 10/28): Sullivan Arena--1600 Gambell St.

--Volleyball is in full swing on Tuesday. Here's a quick list for games in the Anchorage area.
