Thunder Mountain to meet Hoover in Alaska Airlines Classic Championship

ANCHORAGE, Alaska--Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.

Juneau's Thunder Mountain High School literally flew in under the radar for the 2013 Alaska Airlines Classic.

Led by Matt Seymour's 27 points, the Falcons of Thunder Mountain advanced past Louisiana's Northwood High School in overtime, 57-56.

Thunder Mountain shot 53% from the field in the contest.

Northwood's Martavious Washington tallied 24 points including 4 for 8 from beyond the arc.

Saturday's games are as listed:

 

12:30 p.m. - West vs. Eagle River

2:30 p.m. - Dimond vs. Sagemont

4:30 p.m. - Service vs. Northwood

6:30 p.m. CHAMPIONSHIP: Thunder Mountain vs. Hoover

(Note: There are no 3rd, 5th or 7th place games. All games outside of the championship are scheduled for quality of play, and potential attendance figures)
