Cook Inlet Conference Baseball is down to the "Final 4", four teams vying for two spots that will propel them to the state tournament.  The championship pool play kicked off with South defeating Service Tuesday night, improving the Wolverines record to 5-3, dropping the number one seed to 6-2.

Wednesday night Chugiak had an opportunity to make it a three-way tie for second, but only if they could avenge a 9-4 loss to West that occurred on the final day of regular season play.  The Mustangs were down 5-0 after two innings, then 9-5 after four, but rallied, producing a twelve run 7th inning that propelled them to a 20-9 win over West.
