Seawolves Take Sting Out of Yellowjackets

ANCHORAGE, Alaska--Her name has been on the forefront of UAA Seawolf volleyball this season.

Julia Mackey had yet another stellar performance as she pulled together 18 kills in Thursday night's win over Montana State-Billings.

UAA defeated the Yellowjackets in straight sets, 25-19, 25-21, 25-18.

Siobhan Johansen added 31 set assists in the contest. Jordan Bush and Sarah Johnson each added 12 kills in the effort.

The UAA Seawolf Volleyball team returned home after a three game road-trip. They went 2-1 on the away-stand, only losing to nationally ranked Western Washington.

UAA is now 11-2 at the Wells Fargo Sports Complex this season.

The Seawolves host their final home game against Seattle Pacific on Saturday at 8pm.
