Wasilla Warriors Honor Cancer "Warriors"

WASILLA, Alaska--Never doubt what the "Warrior Spirit" can do.

Three members of the Wasilla High football team--Josiah Williams, Cash McGregor and Kevin Oloughlin--came up with the idea to wear different colored articles of clothing this season.

Williams, Wasilla's quarterback, plays for raising awareness toward ovarian cancer. It's a cause that has a direct impact on his life.

"My girlfriend's mom has ovarian cancer," he added, "I wear the teal for her." McGregor and Oloughlin support breast and bone cancer, respectively.

The Warrior football team has also raised money for cancer research in a "Fun Run" in Palmer last week.
