ANCHORAGE, Alaska--The West High Eagles used an explosive first half drive to rally for seven points early.

The Eagles had a chance to go into halftime up by double-digits, but an interception to Bartlett's Brooke Clay kept the Eagles at bay.

Kiera Stokes under center proved to be a dual-threat for Bartlett. She used a shuffle pass to find an opening for Valerie Sao to run in for a 24-yard touchdown reception; however, Bartlett was unable to convert their one-point conversion to tie the game.

The Golden Bears took advantage of a late drive starting from their 30 yard line, and drove all the way into the red-zone, but were unable to come away with points.

McPherson showed up in a big way on defense, deflecting a would-be touchdown from Bartlett to preserve their lead.

FINAL (Flag): West Anchorage 7, Bartlett 6.
